The 2023 LETR International Conference Torch Run event will take place on Monday, October 30. Runners will depart from the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk at 10:00am via charter bus, which will travel to the site of the Special Olympics Eternal Flame of Hope at Soldier Field.
From there, a short welcome ceremony will be held. Torch runners will run alongside beautiful Lake Michigan, taking in iconic attractions and the stunning Chicago skyline. The route will be approximately two miles, ending back at the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk.
The Unified Sports Experience will take place on Monday, October 30 starting at 1:00pm Registrants will have the opportunity to try their hand at Unified Bags alongside some of our amazing Special Olympics Illinois Athletes as well as join in the fun of Unified Esports!
Unified Bags timeslots will be assigned at check in through a first come, first serve basis. Each timeslot will be 30 minutes long and will start at 1pm with the last time slot being 3:30pm.
The Unified Esports will take place starting around 1:00pm and run until approximately 4:00pm. All officers are invited to join in the fun, see the benefit of this outstanding program, and learn more about how Unified Esports helps us reach more Athletes and Unified Partners across the state!
