Local Organizing Committee (LOC) LETR International Conference Scholarship
The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) LETR International Conference Scholarship is designed to support representatives from upcoming Special Olympics World Games host countries in attending the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) International Conference. Through the LETR Executive Council Growth Fund, this scholarship helps ensure early alignment, knowledge transfer, and collaboration between the LOC, LETR leadership, and established programs.
The LETR International Conference provides a unique opportunity for LOC representatives to gain insight into best practices for Torch Run and Final Leg planning, build relationships with global LETR leaders, and strengthen coordination with Special Olympics stakeholders.
This application is intended for LOC teams seeking support for travel, lodging, and/or registration expenses. Applicants will be asked to outline their objectives for attending, anticipated impact, and how they will apply the knowledge and connections gained to support successful Final Leg execution and the development of a sustainable LETR program in the host country.
Funding is limited and awarded through a quarterly review process by the LETR Executive Council.
