2025 LETR Tip-A-Cop® Events Coming to Topgolf Locations Nationwide

Between September 1 and October 31, Law Enforcement Torch Run® (LETR) officers and department personnel will once again trade their uniforms for aprons to serve as “celebrity waiters” at Topgolf venues across the United States, all to raise funds for Special Olympics through the annual LETR Tip-A-Cop® campaign.

This year’s events will take place at more than 30 Topgolf locations across states from Arizona to New York, including Florida and Nebraska, and many more in between. At each participating location, law enforcement officers will volunteer their time to greet guests, serve food and beverages, and collect “tips,” 100% of which stay with the local Special Olympics Program to support athletes in their communities.

The Tip-A-Cop® events are part of Topgolf’s Giving Season. During this time, Topgolf guests nationwide will have opportunities to donate through point-of-sale contributions, purchase a $5 LETR Flame icon, or buy an exclusive Red Glove, with all proceeds benefiting Special Olympics.

The community can also support by participating in the Unified Fore Joy ProAm, the largest inclusive golf tournament in the world, taking place September 1–7 at select Topgolf locations. In 2024, more than 665 teams competed in 21 venues, raising over $558,000 for Special Olympics. This year’s ProAm will once again feature six-person teams competing in a fun, friendly test of Topgolf skills, all while making an impact for athletes of all abilities.

Law enforcement are encouraged to join our corporate partners, including Wingstop, United Airlines, Bank of America, TravisMathew, ARCA Continental Southwest Beverages, and Dutch Bros Coffee, as we work together to create more inclusive communities through the game of golf. ProAms in Orlando, FL; Omaha, NE; Greensboro, NC; Raleigh-Durham, NC; Oklahoma City, OK; Phoenix-Gilbert, AZ; Tucson, AZ; and Holtsville, NY will include an exclusive Torch Run Division. LETR teams will not only compete against other officers locally, but also go head-to-head with Torch Runners from across the country for the Division Title.
