A Powerful Storytelling Opportunity
Special Olympics, Inc. is developing a new keystone video series called Changed by the Game, which will spotlight the life-changing impact Special Olympics athletes have on people without intellectual disabilities. These 15–20-minute documentary-style films will explore authentic, emotional stories that capture the heart of the movement.

We are partnering with the Law Enforcement Torch Run® (LETR) Executive Council to identify officers whose lives have been meaningfully changed through a connection with Special Olympics athletes. This feature will build on the success of the Find Your Why campaign and bring new visibility to the powerful relationships forged within LETR.

We’re seeking LETR officers who:

Have a deeply personal and transformative connection with a Special Olympics athlete
Are still actively involved in the LETR movement
Can speak to how the athlete has changed their life — personally, professionally, emotionally, or mentally
Reflect the diversity of our movement in terms of race, ethnicity, nationality, culture, gender, age, and life experience
